SE SD | You will need to sign up and have paper work done before Oct 1st. FSA here is approving contracts and giving out rates, it may change for next year, but you will get what is on your CRP 1. If you wait, chances are you wont get it in for quite a while, and what little rates will change you will lose out on that first year.
edit, and they wont give you an extension, they have rates! here if it expires, it will need to be farmed again because it wont meet needs and feasibility with NRCS. Your best not to wait if your thinking of putting it back in. Your already behind the 8 ball as there is batching periods this year. You missed out on all but the last one!
