"Barring extreme weather early planted healthy dark green corn with a good moisture profile is mostly made by early/mid july in that area"

With all due respect you are clueless if you believe this. This field had 11 inches of rain during the week Beryl came through in July and barely over an inch since. Planted May 8th. Ears dropping before a milk line starts is a massive yield hit.

Since you say I'm clueless "with all due respect" I will consider the possibility you are correct! Lol

Now a little secret....I want you to be right. I want USDA to believe it. I want traders to realize corn is being lost in a big way. But I live in realville where one kernel of corn pretty easily becomes 500 plus, even with some stress. And its repeatable next year. Im trying to wrap my mind around what happens if ethanol becomes a dinasaur! How to brace for the possibilities.
