Basis on corn is usually at or very close to Chicago price, this is helped out by 2 local ethanol plants. Soybeans to the local elevator usually have about a .50 to .70 basis, unless you are willing to travel about 50 miles and sit in line for a processor which would gain you about .35 to .50 per bushel.
