Southeast Colorado | I realize that............but it doesn't help the cash flow any.
Around here where crop failures are likely...........there'd be no insurance purchased without the subsidy. The price would literally cost half the value of the crop in the field.
We are seriously considering dropping the insurance now, even with the subsidy. That way it won't affect grazing opportunities. The older disaster type payments required you to keep insurance in place...........but it appears they're done giving those out. | |
