Subject: RE: taking blood pressure at doctors

Western Oregon
Me too. Put me in the chair and lean it back, always good there, has nice arm rests. Almost same position as I take it at home in my recliner, leaned back a little with feet up. But it was up 10 pts when taken in dentist chair, when I went in to get 8 teeth pulled and my upper plate put right in. I go to the clinic and they weigh me and set me down in a lounge type chair to take my blood, I take a few deep breaths and get relaxed. I always take my machine and they put it on the other arm. I check mine each day. Doctors always tell me it is only a matter of time before I need pills for blood pressure and high sugar. None yet and I am 68....James
