Comparing prices at this moment to prices of guys finishing projects now is comparing apples to oranges. The day of buying a bin in August is gone. You are looking at 30-50% more expensive to buy now on labor and materials compared to waiting 2 months and pricing. Crews are hard to get scheduled in 4 weeks dealer would have to have materials in his own inventory which at 7% is costly so for a dealer to sell something to be done in time for fall is going to maximize his margin. And even if you told him you were willing to wait till next year he currently isn't going to be aggressive at the moment cause winter discounts have not been released yet. Come October 1st you may see discounts as high as 30-40% to fill 4th quarter factory slots. Be patient remember a bin purchase is long term decision don't make it because of this years crop.
