North Central Indiana | Come over to the center part of the state in Northern Indiana. We’ve had .3” in August and .85” since July 12th. There will be beans harvested in 3 weeks around here. About half our corn fields have ears that are now hanging. It’s not a real pretty sight. Not a failure, there were a lot of bushels already there, but the top is for sure gone now. Looks to be an average year overall for us, which is really all anyone should be counting on anyway so can’t complain too much. The average is the average for a reason
