North Central Illinois | There's different ones, but the one I'm participating in simply is for legume cover crop after a cereal grain. I just need to show that I planted a cover crop on X number of acres. Doesn't quite cover the full cost of the clover seed and application, but I'm doing it anyhow for the N credit and I took three 5x5 round bales of clover per acre off for feed this month so it is a good way to get a little extra value from growing wheat. | |
