2024 crop marketing is my concern. Guess I should have sold a lot more of it. Hindsight always 20/20.

Regardless this is not the usda chip flory show overstated crop. We are not going to harvest a 180+ corn crop in the USA. No way no how. To many holes to many early issues it was not that perfect.

I just wish this market had more stability than it does. $3 moves in corn is just crazy. I wish market would just settle in around 4.50 cash and move .50 either direction. How does a farmer plan for $2.80 cash corn? The city no longer has a minimum wage if $8 but we are expected to lose money over the next 3-4 years? And bleed much faster than years past with the price of everything


Way to survive the current situation was pretty simple.

Paying more income tax over the last five yours to build a cash reserve vs foolish spending to avoid taxes
