S Illinois | Feel better? We are experiencing what large farmer owned grain stocks do with another good crop coming requiring movement of that old crop. Did you think we wouldn’t go back to what is historically normal price action? “Don’t store past the 4th” was a saying for a reason.
The good news is we should bottom this week but will lag around here until Oct harvest pressure is off.
Edit: Don’t store unpriced grain past the 4th. Perfectly fine to play the basis game in July and Aug especially if one is in a tight basis area.
