Cherokee iowa | Basis went +65. Corn here. Got a good 60 days before new crop locally. Need 5.2 million bushels to keep running the plant that’s with a week shut down for maintenance. Idk how much is on hand there? Seems as if that big ole crop is getting chewed through faster then we might think. I’m long field and dec paper as of now. Might get myself longer if I feel just right. Southern rust hit the corn hard last two weeks. Top end on the best fields got widdled alittle. Beans starting to turn here four weeks and I’ll know yields of first local beans. | |
