I've got a supposedly "independent" agent. He claims that "there aren't that many insurance companies who insure farm stuff".
I've currently got it with Farmer's Mutual Lincoln. I've asked Farm Bureau for quote.
He's probably not lying. There are a lot of insurance companies struggling right now and many that are dropping whole lines of insurance. Ag is one of them.
