Subject: RE: Pioneer’s Iowa State/County Yield Estimate

Boone Co. Iowa
Farmers that plant Pioneer (locally, in my experience) tend to not skimp when it comes to growing a crop. Typically not weekend farmers or limited by machinery hp, technology, fertilizer, tiling, etc. Pioneer numbers have been pretty strong for me the past couple years, which is a noticeable difference from 4-5 years ago....

Also, I had a Pioneer dealer do a check in my field....I had a plot on my worst ground (was looking at hybrids for drought tolerance), but guessing lots of guys had plots on their best dirt.

I had 205 and 211 in Greene County, corn-on-corn.
