You would think that as much as we import from China they would welcome the idea of buying something from us whenever possible just to keep us happily buying their junk. Doesn't seem to work that way
Trumps tariffs were imposed to do exactly that..
Biden keep the tariffs but did not enforce retaliatory punishment.. just allowed cheap Chinese crap.. solar panels.. batteries for the green new deal to continue to come in.
