North Mississippi Delta / Alabama Gulf Coast | Due to the huge increase in labor and material during and after Covid, the cost of insurance repairs has dramatically increased. The big insurance companies are taking advantage of the opportunity to increase rates and drop coverage in the hurricane zones of older homes that are more prone to storm damage.
My old truck insurance jumped up and after a conversation with my agent regarding my insurance portfolio and the amount of money spent with them for the last 55 years resulted in a reduction in rates and a actual rebate check due to not including the farm truck with multiple vehicle discount.
I’m sure next year that I will have to shop insurance again. |
