Own 2 older homes, each about 1200 sf, valued around 175,000 each, no other buildings on property, never a claim.
Nearly 3 grand for each one.
So bad, State itself started it's own insurance company, Citizens Insurance, as a last resort for homeowners. If you have been turned down by other private companies, State will insure you. That program is starting to have problems.
Florida has an insurance crisis, between that and astronomical property taxes, folks are having a hard time. | |
