Subject: gold use other than investment

Pittsburg, Kansas

I heard the percentage of gold going to industrial use and can't remember now how much it was.

Ahhhh. Did a search. Here it is. Of course all of that demand other than investment will be recycled as much as possible. So not a lot lost permanently. But a decent amount will end up in landfills as electronic components. I wonder if mining makes up for the industrial use lost? Probably, depending on price and how excited mines are to crank out production.

Gold is more than just a shiny pet rock.
