I think very highly of Professor Bikman (that he speaks poorly of in the latter part of that presentation) and what he professes more closely matches my own experience. Hard to ignore my own experience.

Diamond I don't have much of a dog in the fight because my cholesterol has never been much out of range. I did have a heart doctor try to put me on a statin drug but when I showed him my results from a CAC scan (which he did not want me to get) he dropped the idea. He is no longer my heart doctor (actually I don't need one any more).
