Might be a good time to have the property line surveyed.
This would put the new fence on the property line.
I am considering this. The fence line has been the considered boundary for as long as we have owned this property. I liked the fencerow also because it was hardly no maintenance. We ran the disc mower right against the fencerow and kept the deadfall cleaned up. The previous owner did the same only with a Bush Hog. This seemed to do a good job of controlling growth creep. The new owner (who also owns a fencing company) is planning on installing a residential style box frame fence. Obviously we can't mow up against the fence and I certainly don't want any more maintenance. I don't think he thought this out very well. |
Was I wrong for getting upset about this?
