Iowa | How does the scam work if the seller doesn't give up the item until the check clears?
I'm asking because I have done this as a buyer a few times. I send a cashiers check and tell the seller not to release/ship the item until they are satisfied the check is good. Seems like I have to do this since everything I want is always a few states away.
The 250 over asking seems a little odd though. | |
