Agent Orange: Friendly fire that keeps on burning. | I sold a fairly expensive vehicle to an out of town used car dealer once. I took a cashiers check and had no problem. We met at Chase Bank. We both walked up to the cashier's window, where he wrote a check to pay for the cashier's check. I then took that cashier's check as payment. Since it was a fairly big amount, the cashier's immediate supervisor stood and watched the whole deal. I asked her if there was any way to stop payment on the check and she assured me there wasn't. Took the check to my WF bank and deposited it in my account. That's about the only way I would take a cashier's check though. |
