NCSD | Quite a few years ago I had a soybean field that I believed was going to yield somewhere around 5 bushels per acre.
It was fairly late in the season so there wasn’t going to be any “crop saving rains” on that field.
We had quite a few grasshoppers moving in on field edges. Economically it looked like the spray would probably pay for itself based on the amount of damage occurring vs the cost of spray.
I didn’t spray.
