My nephews were out and cut a bin full today at my place. I presume it was a little too wet as they quit. They probably wanted to get the combine set and checked out. My guess is Monday things will be happening. Have only seen one field in this area that was combined. Doesn't mean there are not more than that, just what I happened by. 

The last week in August is near normal time for us to start. Before that if things have burned up. A week later if an unusually wet summer. I think our corn is going to be at least average yield if not a little better.
