Agree. 

I have heard it said that when science discovers something it takes 20-30 years for it to get integrated into the medical system and literature.

Today we have the means with the communication system we have to cut that way down. Yet on the other hand we have a medical and food industry that has financial incentives to keep things the same. I think the latter is winning.
