I Completely understood what you are saying. I'm saying that even small changes in weather at critical points of influence can change crop yields.

There is obviously a reason the corn was off. Most likely a weather event happened. This was obviously in a non critical point in the soybeans reproduction cycle but was for the corn.

Pod counts can absolutely be that close and corn be that far off. That's my whole point.
