Grandview Mo. | "Tiny bug, clear/black brought back: Ghost ants are tiny bugs with dark heads and clear bodies that are about 1.3–1.5 mm long. Their heads and thoraxes are dark brown or black, while their abdomens are opaque or milky white and almost transparent. When they run on light surfaces, their transparent abdomens and legs can make them seem to vanish, leaving only their dark heads and thoraxes visible. On darker surfaces, they appear as pale patches moving.
