West Manchester Ohio | In Ohio we still have townships. Our township has 40 miles of roads. I feel like we would see a reduction in service if the county took over. They have all the county roads that will take priority, and then work the way down. We also still have two fire departments that need to merge, and we can’t even accomplish that. (Long story, politics). We also bury in three cemeteries and maintain several other historic cemeteries. To consolidating with the county I say a big fat no thank you. I know every situation is different though. | |
