I can only imagine the frustration of trying to follow the rules where if you didn’t live on an island you could just walk cross the line and thumb your nose at poorly planned and funded rules enforcement. Sorry.

This woman was having issues with USCIS for several years. Finally when Elliot Davis become involved and contacted Sen Durbin's office things got resolved.
