Subject: RE: Insurance on grain trucks or seasonal vehicles

East of Broken Bow
They told me no as well, but then I asked if I get a low use discount. I got about 1/3 of the price shaved off for my truck being a low-use vehicle. The agent said they do not like cancelling and re-instating insurance on any road vehicle because of past problems with someone who decided to run their truck in to get serviced before harvest, and hadn't gotten the insurance back on yet. Guy had an accident, claimed he had XYZ insurance. XYZ insurance said he used to have insurance, but cancelled it. He claimed he told them to re-instate it and they did not. They said they had no record of him making such a request. Wound up being such a sticking point they no longer do that. Not sure if that is company policy or just my agent, but I can sure see it happening.
