Subject: Insurance on grain trucks or seasonal vehicles

Currently my personal vehicle insurance company also insures my farm trucks (grain trucks and semi). They say that I need to carry the grain trucks all year long and I pay premiums every 6 months. Being I use these trucks seasonally (sept-nov) can't I suspend the policy for the other 9 months? Does anyone do this? I have a classic car that I am able to suspend over winter as I only drive in summer months so not sure why this is any different. The insurance premium has gone up by maybe 40% this year so it's making a bigger impact. My provider is the one with the Jake guy. Maybe my local agent is incorrect? thanks
