I was told by my VA urologist that anything beyond removal could put me at much more risk if surgery is needed later. Main reason given was the formation of scar tissue and possibly worse health. These make the surgery option a higher risk later. So I opted for total removal. No pain but need time for bladder to readjust. But I'm still glad I did it.
Has anyone had a PAE procedure on their prostate?
