is this another deal like out in Oregon where a bunch of Mormons invaded a bird sanctuary building on public land because some guy got in trouble for burning grass on government ground? They also got in trouble for grazing land in Nevada and never paying the grazing fees. Usually, the backstory is they were told repeatedly not to do what they were doing and pushed the authority to the limit and did themselves in. Authority can't just let them violate the laws or nobody would follow them. Not saying the regulations, they were violating are right, but there are legal means to challenge the regulations other than just violate them and think you are above the law because your family has been there since 1900.

In the video, it states they were in mediation over this, but the USFS used it as a fishing expedition instead, and the USFS walked away without notice when it was not "deadlocked". Then the USFS came out throwing every book and swinging for the fences.

This is the way the USFS operates. I know of someone who shares a road, to their house, with the USFS and about went to federal prison for putting more gravel on it. Said road has existed since the area was settled and is on a section line, one side is private, the other USFS.
