Townsend, Montana

And rent should be $200…like that’s going to happen. Sometimes WE are our own worst enemies.

Farmer's are 100% to blame for rent prices.

Going to say farmers take part of blame for equipment prices. Tax code responsible for the other moiety.

Can't figure out who to blame besides government bureaucracy for fertilizer prices. Montana alone has enough "easily recoverable" phosphate to fertilize the entire United States for almost a century, and yet we have 0 phosphate mines. Used to have several, but they got squashed by the overburdensome bureaucracy of the US Forest Circus.

Complete deregulation of the mining industry would allow competition to flourish and would cut fertilizer prices in half or more in my opinion. As is, bureaucracy has allowed monopolies to flourish.
