East Central South Dakota | Started planting corn May 6th and finished May 12th. By pollination I needed to September 23. I have slipped a little since but heat next two weeks might get me back. Need to make it up next two weeks. If you're not close to maturity by October 5th I would say you aren't going to make it on a normal year. Days just to short and cool.
