Study represents a statistical association, not a physiological assessment.

This below suggests these people have disposable income....the study would have to be evaluated. "Many factors can contribute to developing type 2 diabetes," and there's the rub.

"Regular consumption of 50 grams of processed meat a day — equivalent to two slices of ham — is associated with a 15% higher risk of developing the disease,"
