Illinois corn yield 10 bu higher than last year, pod counts up about 12 % , western Iowa slightly better corn and pod counts above last year. The tour has found nothing to counter what USDA has put out there. My guess is they bring in a corn yield 1.5 under USDA and a bean yield .6 bu under usda.

One thing to remember is vs last year this years crop is set up to finish stronger than last year's.


I know there will be hope that somebody freezes early, Accuweather has NO freezing temps as far north as grand forks ND out to October 5th.
