S Illinois | How are fall basis bids holding up in everyone’s area? Some of the weakest seen back east in a long long time especially at elevators in the countryside primarily serviced by rail. More and more -60Z fall bids showing up. Hopefully just sandbagging for what’s looking like a crop that will be tough to find a home for and will allow for a quick recovery. Unfortunately this will also start filtering out north and west as grain looks for a home with harvest starting in a couple of weeks in the far southern corn belt. | |
