S Illinois | It wasn’t a scare tactic. A scrapegoat was needed for a market that had gotten very frothy.
Edit: A lot of innuendo and guessing on your part there. If you know something don’t you think the market knows the exact same thing. The market isn’t sitting around and saying “well, no USDA report must mean everything is A OK so let’s sell all of these positions we acquired to drive the price up when we knew exactly the same information.”
