https://www.bnnbloomberg.ca/business/technology/2024/08/20/eating-meat-raises-risk-of-type-2-diabetes-study-says/

"Regular consumption of 50 grams of processed meat a day — equivalent to two slices of ham — is associated with a 15% higher risk of developing the disease, researchers from the University of Cambridge found. Eating 100 grams of unprocessed red meat, such as a small steak, raises the risk by 10%, they said."

I wonder if they studied eating doughnuts, pies, ice cream, drinking cola, eating chocolate candy?

Find out who funded this "study" and you will have your answer.

This. Follow the money.

Almost 2 million people in the study and I will bet that they call about anything "red meat" including corn dogs, frozen pizza, lasagna, and a fast food meal of one patty of meat surrounded by seed oils and carbs. :)
