I have told this story before , in '91 we bought a 6 month old 9400 combine from a farm were the Son fifty ish had passed away. Went to see it and it was smallist of 5 combines, had 17 tractors for sale also. Dealing with his 78 yr. old dad who says "took us 50 yrs.to get were we are and its gone overnight"
Back to real story ,they had it on JDC payments so needed a release from company. We went to the dealer and they owed $6k more on it than we paid. Dealer says "we sold them a lot of equipment but,Idk if we ever made any money in the end on those deals. Dealer also said ,they would not have paid for it but just rolled it when interest free time was up' Those were the days of 0% for 1-2 yrs.
