coast of Maine
Birddy, its all in your mind on the "chicken coop " look.My wife thought the same.I took her on a bicycle tour of several new coastal developments on the coast of Georgia.Almost all now are using screwed down tin as it lasts thru hurricanes better and actually if using the galvanized finish it ages well and gets a nice patina. You put the longest screws on the edges ,eves, gabel ends. Its not the 1960's nails and washers that rotted anymore. She now has chicken coop tin on almost all of her houses.
