NW IL | Another thing I thought of, depending on where "south" is, there were many areas that had below average yields due to drought the last few years. Good prices don't mean much if you don't have a crop to sell.
Not everyone has a war chest left over from high price days, or spent all their fun money on new paint. Some areas have just had a hard go of it lately. | |
