NW Indiana | You are correct the JD tech is a poor example. What about the carpenter that put the shingles on the house? There is tons of examples of people I pay that have to pay income tax on the money I already earned.
I’m just trying to get you guys to look at things from a different perspective because I don’t think the path agriculture (or many other things for that matter) is a good one. Like I said crop insurance and generational wealth are a huge impact on consolidation at a rapid rate. Ag is heading towards mega farms and only the few powerful being part of it. Once that happens my opinion probably won’t be so hated unless you are one of the lucky ones. Family farms are dying and within another generation or two will be a thing of the past. | |
