Nash County, NC | My system was causing a terrible wet spot in my yard.
We had the holding tank pumped and that helped for a little while.
I eventually installed 4" tile in my yard through the wet spot to the edge of my lot. The wet spot was beside the drain field and the drain field was serving as tile for my yard and it was "Pooling" in the low spot.
I live in a rural area where none of my neighbors really care what the next family is doing, so I didnt get permission or any type of permit. However, I didnt do anything to the septic system, only to the wet spot in yard. It solved my problem.
