Three weeks longer on feed equals 6% more on feed, right? And less slaughtered because they’re still on feed.

365 x 6% = 21 days

Three weeks seems like a long time to keep one that’s ready around though.

Unfortunately the most likely reason, packers need a good sell off so they can slurp up a bunch of supply.
