The amount of ground removed from crop production is significant, so there’s that. It’s relevant.
Separately is impact on the landscape. If all the ground surrounding your farm was converted to solar panels, that wouldn’t be an issue to you?

Are you advocating that government apply more regulations on what people can do on private property?

It's a double edged sword, I'll be on the less government interference side every time.
