After this AI stuff became more common it would appear that it is easier to see what is ahead. I envision it used more and more against individuals for various reasons. Like already mentioned-propaganda for sure. Intimidation and control is another. It may cause some to abandon all platforms of social media. Could cause some to cease use of cell phones and all other forms currently used for personal data harvest whereby a person is merely communicating but big brother is siphoning it all up. A more simple way of living could be one end result.
I used to be a bit of a computer nerd back when Dos was the thing, and through the early Mac computers and into Windows 95 or so.
I’ve never set up an account on MySpace or Facebook or any of the other social media one would consider common. I don’t have a cell phone. I do watch YouTube videos but I’ve not signed in with an account there. I see the not very distant future YouTube will feel useless to me as the fake bots take over. I already back out of the obvious artificial voiced ones, and the absurd ‘monster farm machines etc’ click bait ones.
Anyhow, I might be on the path you mention. :)
