They didn’t lower percent harvested acres like analysts thought they would, actually they raised it ever so slightly. So yeah some believe anywhere from 500k-1million corn acres should be lowered from harvested.
So if you have a field in the Missouri River Valley and say it’s an 80 and 5 acres are on a high spot and make something harvestable, and flooding killed the other 75 acres. They still probably count the whole field as harvested, just with a low yield. Or am I wrong on this? |
