Subject: RE: Indiana needs a good shot of rain

SE Iowa
Over 15” in the last 30 days. More than I had pretty well all growing season last year. Still raining today. Can stop any time. No idea how things will do. When dry it’s better than expected. When it’s wet it’s usually worse. Lots of Nitrogen and disease issues here. Things look good but won’t be surprised if corn was better last year. Won’t be hard to beat last years bean yields as it never did rain in August and was 100 degrees over Labor Day weekend last year. Beans were 45-55. Thought they would be 65+ this year but not convinced yet.
