Originally IH sold both a 966 and a 1066 Hydro, as well as a 666. As one of the posters said, there was a big discrepancy in working drawbar horsepower compared to the gear drive tractors so they renumbered the hydros, and the Hydro 100 and Hydro 70 were born. Pretty rare and valuable tractor for PTO and hay work if it is nice though.
